Your Construction Operations Partner

Hi, I'm Angie. For 30+ years I've helped run construction businesses from the inside — managing operations, books, and systems for companies just like yours. I've held the builder's license, run the office, tracked the job costs, and stepped in as project manager when the work outgrew the people. I know your world because I've lived in it.

I started Who Spent That to help contractors build the structure their business is missing: clear roles, written processes, real systems, and financials that actually tell you something. Most owners are great at the work — building, bidding, hiring. What slips is everything behind the scenes. That's where I come in.

The work flexes to fit you. Some clients start with a books cleanup, then stay on for the operational backbone they never had time to build — clear titles, SOPs, job costing that tells the truth. Others bring me in for the technical work: certified payroll, prevailing wage, subcontractor compliance, audit prep. Whether you need a little or a lot, I deliver the right support exactly where and when you need it.

What I Believe

  • I simplify the complicated parts — the numbers, the regulations, and the systems behind them.

  • Construction owners deserve more than 'good enough.' They deserve real structure: clear roles, written processes, financials that actually tell them something.

  • I work as a partner, not a vendor. That means understanding your business, not just your accounts.

  • My mission is simple: help construction owners stop being the bottleneck — so the business can run, grow, and outlast them.

My Practical, Hands-On Approach

I take a hands-on, relationship-focused approach to your business. That means taking the time to understand your business, your goals, and your challenges so I can provide solutions that truly work for you.

I don't just manage numbers, I help you build structure, stay compliant, and create systems that support growth.

Who I Help

I work with Minnesota construction business owners who are great at the work — building, bidding, hiring, hustling — but feel like everything behind the scenes is one phone call away from falling apart." "The contractors I help usually:

  • Have a real business but no real systems holding it together

  • Know the books are messy but don't have time to clean them up

  • Worry about audits, compliance, and payroll more than they should

  • Are tired of being the only person who knows how anything works

  • Are ready to build something that doesn't depend on them 60 hours a week

Let’s Work Together

If you're tired of holding the whole business together yourself — let's talk. I'd love to hear what you're building and where it's getting stuck.
